Halle city boys choir STADSINGECHOR (conductor and art director Frank Stefen Elster) was visited Kaunas on 8th of April, 2013. We have a wonderfull time to listen this choir concert in Kaunas. This concert was the first anticipatory concert of 3rd International Choir Festival KAUNAS CANTAT 2013.

This choir has a rich history, from 12th century. During this hystorical period this choir was leaded by Samuel Scheidt, Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow, Georg Friedrich Händels and Wilhelm Friedemann Bach.

Since its founding till this days the choir cherished choral sacred music. Particular attention is given to German musical traditions.

After the 20th International Choir Festival of Sacred, Advent and Christmas Music "CANTATE DOMINO" 2012 one of jury member Andrea Angleni (ICB managing editor, choral conductor and teacher) write an article in the International Choir Bulletin about the festival and competition
